Manchester United to face Chelsea in FA Cup semi-final

The draw for the FA Cup semi-final has been made, with Manchester United set for a showdown against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium.

The semi-finals will take place of the weekend of the 18th/19th July, where Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping to navigate his way to the final.

United defeated Norwich 2-1 on Saturday to secure their final-four spot, with Harry Maguire netting at the end of extra-time after Todd Cantwell had canceled out Odion Ighalo’s opener.

Solskjaer has already set his sights on winning the FA Cup, as he hopes to secure his first piece of silverware in charge of the club and he will take heart from the fact the United have already beaten the Londoners on three occasions this season, twice in the Premier League and once in the League Cup.

Meanwhile, Chelsea overcame Leicester 1-0 on Sunday, booking their place in the semi-finals thanks to a Ross Barkley goal.

The semi-final between United and Chelsea is a repeat of 2018 final, which was won by the Blues.

Do you think United can overcome the challenge of Chelsea? Is a fourth win over Frank Lampard on the cards for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer? One thing is for sure, it will be a tasty affair once the two clubs meet!
